Trish & Phill's Tandem TransAmerican

Tour 2003

 Home Up

June 27 Frisco - Kremmling 46mi

We left Frisco quite early to beat the wind but no sooner we had got on the bike path 5mins down the track the bike path disappeared no signs instruction or nothing so that took us another 30 mins to work out where we had to go.

As you can see the view are fantastic.

The ride was practically down hill most of the way , we took at detour via Heeney which was the scenic route and it was definitely that so lovely ,we saw our Mule Deer , a Beaver and lots of the sweetest Prairie Dogs all over the place.

The Prairie Dogs makes a high pitched noise when they spot you to warn there friends they pop up on their back legs and stand up as if they have automatic extension on them they are so funny.

We always seem to find it hard to get going when we have had a layover day and today was no exception by the time we got to camp we were totally stuffed.
