June 28 Kremmling - Walden 65miToday Phill and I made the decision to pull out of Adventure Cycling. Absolutely nothing to do with the group at all they are a fantastic bunch of people and it is with sadness that we come to this decision. If it had not been for the people in our group in the beginning with their help and support I doubt whether we would have finished the tour. We will give a summary of the Pro's & Cons of traveling with an organizational group such as Adventure Cycling at the end of this Journal. We intend to continue with the TransAm and basically the same route as the rest of the group but choosing our own campsites etc, which means we will meet up with the group almost everyday which will be great. We had a hard day today as the wind came up early and it was a hard struggle, leaving early is what we should be doing so we can beat the heat and wind. The scenery again is just spectacular every day it is different and as beautiful as the next day.More Praire Dogs This small town of 890 people where having there Annual Festival this weekend and I think every other town in a 50mile radius must have come to join in the fun, they had a Rodeo but we missed it and all sorts of things going on. There were No Motels or Accommodation at all so guess what another City Park no facilities at all except a public toilet that did not lock. The town was buzzing no only with excitement and razzmatazz but with heaps of Mosquitoes they were every where and hungry little buggers once we had tea it was in the tent and zipped up for the night.
